Students begin the Industrial Design curriculum as Pre- Industrial Design students. After completing a minimum of twenty-four credit hours in good standing.
The study of Industrial Design (ID) at NC State University is a four-year (eight- semester) In addition to the three year sequence of 6 credit -hour Studio courses.
The minimum requirements for the two-year MID degree for a student with a Eighteen credit hours of electives, which must be approved by the program.
